PROJECT: BetMGM Plinko

Designed, and fabricated a custom plinko game and brand activation for BetMGM.
The project also involved designing graphics for halfwalls, way finding signage, and much more.
The client wanted the custom plinko game to be as large as possible.
However they had some additional constraints:
It had to be small enough to be able to be transported by the client
in rented minivans and SUVs.It had to be light enough to be moved by everyday office workers.
It had to be durable enough to last multiple indoor and outdoor events.
It had to be made with a tight budget.
To meet all these goals we seperated the game into two pieces. This allowed us to make the center plinko game out of more durable 12mm PVC and make the lions mane out of ultra light coroplast in three pieces. The lions mane was assembled and attached to the plinko game board with velcro as to allow easy onsite installation by the client.
The coroplast was much lighter and more cost effective, but it was a little more prone to slight ware and tear. That meant we stayed under budget, but the added benefit of separating the lion mane from the game board was the ability to come back to the client later down the road once they had the budget and offer multiple custom frames that they could swap out between events.
